Bérénice Lasfargues works in BNPP AM’s Sustainability Center since 2019 where she leads on the firm’s approach to the Sustainable Development Goals and on ESG research in the ICT sector. She is also a key contributor to several transversal strategic research projects, such as the firm’s proprietary ESG scoring methodology and impact investing framework. She also works with investment teams to better integrate ESG criteria in their investment process, managing the internal firm-wide cross-asset class network of ESG Champions in investment teams.
She is the representative for BNPP AM’s sustainable investment capabilities across the Americas, promoting the firm’s expertise with clients and externally across the region.
Previously, she worked at the OECD, undertaking economic research on green and blended finance. She was also a legislative fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives and conducted field work on climate change and development in emerging markets. Bérénice holds masters’ degrees in engineering and environmental management from Ecole Centrale Paris (now CentraleSupelec) and the National University of Singapore, respectively. She is an EFFAS CESGA (Certified ESG Analyst) certificate holder.
